Tractors
Tractors are cattle that live in Radiator Springs under Frank’s care and behave similarly to cows, roaming the fields of Ornament Valley day after day. Some tractors have unique names, such as Rusty in Cars and Betsy in Planes: The Video Game.
Cars
In Cars, Lightning McQueen’s revving wakes up the entire field of tractors, causing them to tip at the same time, and the tractors can be seen behind the gate at the Radiator Springs Drive-In Theatre, watching films like Toy Car Story, during the film’s credits.
Cars: The Video Game
They only appear in Cars: The Video Game’s Tractor Tipping game, in which the goal is to tip all of the tractors before time runs out while avoiding being caught by Frank or the searchlights.

Kinect Rush: A Disney/Pixar Adventure
Although they do not appear in Kinect Rush: A Disney/Pixar Adventure, their mooing can be heard when the player drives through a field with Mater and Sheriff in the first Cars level Fancy Drivin’.

Cars 3: Driven to Win
In Cars 3: Driven to Win, the tractors return to many race tracks and the Thomasville playground.
Cars Land
The tractors appear in Cars Land’s Radiator Springs Racers and Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree. In Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree, baby tractors pull carts that guests will ride in, and the tractors dance in figure 8’s every time Mater sings. In Radiator Springs Racers, Sheriff asks Mater to take the riders to the big race. Mater takes them tractor tipping, but then they wake up.
Physical descriptions
All of the tractors seen in the Cars series have the same make model Holstein Heifer Chewall Diesel Powered, and their liveries can vary between many different paint schemes, the most common of which is pink with brown spots and slight hints of rust. Another livery seen on tractors is a much whiter color, with the same brown spots and slight hints of rust.
Personalities and traits
They have a tendency to eat grass and slowly roam the fields, and they also appear to be lazy and calm, preferring quiet environments. According to their official bio from Cars, they prefer sleeping on their backs, despite their dislike for Mater interrupting their slumber.
Powers and abilities
Tractors’ jobs are to plow Ornament Valley’s fields under the supervision of Frank, who assists them and keeps an eye on them to ensure that they stay on task.

“The first domestication of North American tractors can be traced back to the 1800s during the construction of the first transcontinental railroad, when railroaders quickly discovered the tractors’ ability to create level grades across even the most demanding geography. Today, the native plains tractor is regarded as one of the true pioneers of the West.”
